Susan Ward, The About Network
This is an amazing resource of
information and links. If you're a Canadian running your own small
business or thinking of starting one, Small Business: Canada will give you
all the business resources, contacts, financial sources, and tools that
you need to be a successful entrepreneur.
Business Guide, The
This company produces a guide to all levels Canadian government financial
assistance programs available to new and expanding businesses. They also
offer proposal development and application assistance.
This information is provided on a
paid subscription basis only. Their web site does however have a few free
features of interest to new entrepreneurs. These include a free
newsletter, "Steps to Starting a Business", a Business Plan template you
can download, a partial list of up-coming business events.
Business Plan Plus
This site provides advice of writing a business plan.
Make sure you click on "test your business" to take two quick tests to
determine the viability of your business and of yourself (as an
entrepreneur)
